We're buying a Fixer Upper! Built in 1940, renovating to Modern Rustic!

Bird's eye view of the property!

We are in contract for buying a house that was built in 1940! It needs a lot of work, but we love the location, being near many places that we frequent and being in a centralized location good for business. With all the work that it needs, we are trying to figure out what needs done FIRST. In reality, there are like fifty things that "need done first." So where do we start?! We want to get things going as soon as possible, but we also want to do as much of it ourselves as we can manage.

First dilemma: What colors?! We will need to rip out all the kitchen and start basically from scratch, along with cutting out or removing a wall to open up the small galley kitchen. We've been mocking up some 3D renderings, but we can't settle on the colors of the cabinets, so we can't even pick out the color of the appliances yet, lol.

The house also needs some work done on the crawlspace foundation. So that is a priority for being able to move forward with a lot of the needed renovations. We're looking forward to getting in there and getting things started!
